All Things Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin resurfacing treatment! After numbing the skin, tiny microinjuries are introduced to the skin to speed up the healing process to increase collagen and elastin production. One microneedling treatment increases collagen production by 400%! This can be done on the face, neck, chest, abdomen, hands, or anywhere else you would like to improve texture or tone! Microneedling is great for reducing the size of pores, fine lines and hyperpigmentation (sun spots/scars). A treatment that leaves you with beautiful, glowing skin after just one session. Safe for all skin tonex and textures! 

At M Aesthetics, we pride ourselves on providing safe, inclusive and comfortable services! We invest in the best topical numbing cream for our clients, so the experience is a relaxing one. Microneedling can be scratchy at times (especially for someone who is more exposed to the sun), but it is not painful. 

For a proper treatment (minimizing scars, texture, sun spots) 4 treatments at least 4 weeks apart is recommended. For optimal results, it is recommended to continue with at least 3 sessions per year to help with resurfacing once your treatment  package is over.

M Aesthetics knows that we have busy clients that do not always have time in their schedule for a 7-day peel, which is why we hype up microneedling so much! Both are resurfacing treatments for improvement in skin tone/texture, but microneedling only causes redness for a maximum of 5 days. Typically patients leave looking red and over the next day or two all redness goes away. It is important to wear sunscreen daily and avoid the use of active ingredients (harsh acids or retinols) for a week prior and after to minimize skin irritation! 

Absolutely! While microneedling is great on its own, adding PRF or VAMP can help speed up the healing process, giving you the after-glow sooner. VAMP is a blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and PDRN (salmon DNA) to help with skin regeneration and cell turnover. Whereas PRF is your body’s own growth factors from your blood used as a glide to help with the healing and new collagen production. Both options with give you beautiful glowing results within a couple of days and continue to work over time.
