Chemical peels are a non-invasive treatment for skin resurfacing. This is a great treatment option for someone looking to reduce pigmentation, appearance of fine lines/scars and great for acne on the face, chest, or back. There are many different kinds of chemical peels, some penetrating deeper than others for maximum results 

VI peels are a safe and effective peel for ALL skin tones and types. These are medium-depth peels that can target specific skin issues, such as acne, line lines and large treatment areas such as the back, chest, arms. These peels use a blend of acids to remove the damaged outer skin. VI peels come with all the aftercare you would need and they offer an app for convince with aftercare reminders! These are best in a series of 3, but 1 will leave you with a glowing and brighter complexion.These are best in the fall and winter as they do cause photosensitivity.

PRX is a biorevitalizer that is able to stimulate the dermis without the intense exfoliation/peeling other chemical peels do. This is a no downtime resurfacing option. This treatment uses TCA to stimulate fibroblasts and collagen production without peeling on the surface. These are great for year-around use as it does not cause photosensitivity. This treatment is also safe for all skin tones!

This is a range of superficial to medium-depth peels that use a blend of acids to exfoliate the skin. The Illuminize peel is great for the first-timers just looking for a glow with no peeling. The Vitalize Peel is a medium-depth peel that is more suited for sun damage or mild acne scarring. The Rejuvenize Peel is the strongest of the SkinMedica Peels, targeting more significant issues such as deep wrinkles and hyperpigmentation with a little more downtime. This peel is not recommended for Fitzpatrick V & IV, unfortunately but the other two options mentioned above are!
